Hisou Mojito Cocktail
Ingredients (for 1 glass):
6 cl 6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
4 cl white rum
2 cl fresh lime juice
2 tsp raw cane sugar
6–8 fresh mint leaves
Soda water to top up
Crushed ice
Garnish: mint sprig, lime slices
Preparation:
Step 1: Lightly muddle mint leaves and cane sugar in a glass.
Step 2: Add lime juice, white rum, and Hisou hibiscus drink.
Step 3: Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir well.
Step 4: Top up with soda water and stir gently again.
Step 5: Garnish with mint sprig and lime slices.
Hisou Paloma Cocktail
Ingredients (for 1 glass):
5 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
5 cl Tequila Blanco
1 cl fresh lime juice
8 cl grapefruit juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
1 cl agave syrup or sugar syrup (to taste)
Ice cubes
Salt or hibiscus rim (optional)
Garnish: grapefruit slice or orange zest, hibiscus flower
Preparation:
Step 1: Optionally, moisten the glass rim with lime and dip into salt or dried hibiscus.
Step 2: Shake all ingredients with ice in a shaker.
Step 3: Strain into a glass filled with ice.
Step 4: Garnish with a grapefruit slice and hibiscus flower.
Hisou Martini Cocktail
Ingredients (for 1 glass):
6 cl Hisou hibiscus drink
4 cl gin or vodka
2 cl fresh lemon juice
1 cl cl sugar syrup (optional, depending on sweetness)
Ice cubes
Garnish: fresh hibiscus flower
Preparation:
Step 1: For more intensity: Reduce Hisou hibiscus drink in a saucepan over medium heat to about half (creates a syrup).
Step 2: Add the reduced Hisou, gin/vodka, lemon juice, and sugar syrup (if used) into a shaker with ice.
Step 3: Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a hibiscus flower and enjoy.
